In order to establish and to maintain strong relationships between parents and teachers a flow of ideas and concerns is necessary. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled during the first and second semesters. Parents are encouraged to visit the school at any time or to call and set up special consulting times. As regards to specific questions about school rules or particular classroom situations, the Bible (Matthew 18) directs us to speak directly with the person involved. If further discussion is needed, then the principal or pastor will act as the third party. If not resolved, then the Board of Education will act as the final mediator. Several parent meetings are scheduled throughout the year. Attendance at these meetings shows interest in your child’s education and helps keep lines of communication open and flowing.
